Bob's answers to the exercise

1. What's your hometown like?
   - It's a very pleasant little town with lots of friendly people and some nice bars. Sometimes it seems a bit too quiet, though. (I am of course referring to my adopted hometown of Ena).
   
2. Do you enjoy working on your computer?
   - Yes, I do, very much. I hate it when things start to go wrong, though.
3. What do you think of cell phones?
   - I'm not a big fan of cell phones. I hate it when people start talking loudly on them in trains and restaurants. I suppose they're very convenient for a lot of people, though.
4. What do you think of the programmes on TV?
   - I think a lot of them are rubbish. You get some good documentaries on NHK, though.
5. Do you think it's good to have a dog as a pet?
   - I think dogs are great pets. They take a lot of looking after, though.
